Local Partner Churches

One of the principal values of Arms of Love is to develop each project as a ministry of the local church to its own community. The children who reside at the Arms of Love Children's Home in Managua, Nicaragua, currently attend services at La Vina Comunidad Cristiana Norte, a church affiliated with the Vineyard that is pastored by Eugenio Maltez Lacayo.

Arms of Love is currently coordinating its efforts in Nicaragua with a partnership of Vineyard churches in the United States that is led by Pastor Steve Fish, the senior pastor of the Vineyard church in Vancouver, Washington. Our objective in coordinating our efforts is to develop the children's homes in such a way as to complement the church planting efforts in Nicaragua.

The Vineyard church planting partnership does not currently have any church plants in the Jinotepe area. Accordingly, the children in Jinotepe have been attending other local churches, including a Baptist church and a Nazarene church. As the campus develops to include five children's homes, we anticipate that the children and staff in the different homes may attend different churches in the Jinotepe area.
