What We Do: Meet Our Children

The Arms of Love Children's Home in Managua, Nicaragua, began receiving children in April 2000, and we now have three homes in Managua and Jinotepe that care for more than 30 children. The Arms of Love Children's Home in the Philippines opened in January 2001 and now consists of four homes caring for more than 40 children. The ministry we sponsor in Morelia, Mexico, received its first girl in May 2002, and currently cares for between 6-10 girls. The Arms of Love Children's Home in Dakar, Senegal opened in July 2004 and has received 15 orphaned children. In the fall of 2006, construction will commence on our first children's home in the Amazon Basin of Northeastern Brazil, which will begin receiving children in 2006, and we are also partnering with a new children's home in Nagpur, India, which is currently caring for seven children.

In total, by fall 2006, Arms of Love will be caring for more than 100 children in five countries. Moreover, we are continuing to develop new relationships in many other countries, and our vision is to continue expanding the scope and depth of our ministry in the years ahead.
