Since Francela turned eighteen she has been removed from school and is transitioning into the role of an adult worker in the home. Because of Francela’s handicap, she would likely have difficulty finding and keeping a job outside of the home. For this reason, it has been decided that Francela can continue to live at Arms of Love for as long as she would like. In addition to being part of the family, she now serves as a live-in type of employee role. She works a lot in the kitchen now and helps with the cleaning duties.
