For Pastors

Bring a Team

Build faith, hope, and shared vision in your church community by joining with Arms of Love in kingdom work that matters: bringing tangible, practical, effective solutions to the global crisis of children at risk; making the Kingdom of God real to children in need.

Ministry to children at risk

Arms of Love is honored to receive teams from partner churches. Your community will be blessed to witness the move of God among young children being set free from despair and deprivation. Our kids will be blessed to receive the gift of love and compassion that your community has to offer. To love freely and be loved in return ... this describes the heavenly reality of shared ministry that happens in our homes. Blessing given and received.

We want to see the church put love and compassion to work: Partner with Arms of Love to give needy children A home. A family. A future.

Ministry on the cutting edge

Since our homes are intimately connected with local church plants, your team will also witness and participate in the growth of the world church, by engaging with these local communities. A trip to an Arms of Love home is an opportunity for your team to walk out justice and compassion while learning about and supporting local church planting. We are actively involved with the local Vineyard churches (current and future) in Nicaragua and the Philippines and the US partnerships that support them.

Planning your trip

Teams pay $35 per person, per day for 3 meals per day and lodging. Extra costs can apply for transportation, construction projects, craft projects and special activities like outings and parties for the team and kids. When your trip is booked we will send you a list of activities to choose from, with a list of associated costs, to aid you in budgeting.

Glen Schroder

“One of the blessings of pastoring is the opportunity to see faith come alive in people as they step out of their comfort zone and begin to take risks in the Kingdom of God.”

“We have had the joy of working with Arms of Love for over 5 years now and love the opportunity to participate in a ministry that is truly transforming lives. Every person that has gone with us has been uniquely touched by the time they spent in Nicaragua and their interaction with the children of Arms of Love. Without fail, that renewed sense of God’s presence and power comes home with them and has sparked new life throughout our congregation.”

“We also work with La Vina church plant and I love that my teams can be involved with both church ministry and justice and compassion.”
