What greater blessing than to give your time, your heart, and even to give yourself for children who’ve been cast aside. Arms of Love can connect your God-given skills and gifts with the needs of our family homes in Nicaragua and the Philippines.

Our volunteers include individuals with special training as teachers, counselors, and contractors, as well as those who simply want to come and love the kids. We have volunteer opportunities for ministry, academic tutoring, repair and construction on our facilities, and help with daily chores. No matter what you do in life, you are able to make an impact on these children. Just by sharing your life, by sharing your self with them, you will make a difference.

So whether you have a week, a month or even a year to give, download our Volunteer Application Form and get started today. A basic knowledge of Spanish is necessary for most Nicaragua applicants. English is widely spoken in the Philippines so no special language skills are necessary. References and an interview are required. The cost is $40 per day up to a maximum of $400 per month.

For more information on costs and requirements, contact us by email.

Jess Burge

Four years ago I was blessed to participate in a week-long mission trip to Nicaragua, and have just returned from my 10th visit! My heart and passion for this special country has only continued to grow. Each trip has afforded me with opportunities to not only demonstrate God’s incredible love for the children, but also to build long-term relationships with both the children and staff. Over time, Arms of Love has become like family. Because of my trips and experiences I pursued a master’s degree in Social Work. It is amazing to witness how God uses each of us, if only we step out in faith.
